ConsulTran was incorporated in the state of Delaware in 1993. ConsulTran is located in Northbrook, Illinois, which is just north of Chicago. ConsulTran has participated in a number of projects both for the US Federal Government and for the private sector companies in the United States, Canada, Europe and Africa. The company led a team that developed proposals for the Federal Highway Administration on advanced information technology applications for the demand-responsive systems. ConsulTran was involved in a study on users' acceptance of advanced ITS technologies. In the information technology field ConsulTran provides technical consulting and staffing services to a variety of local and international clients.
